Wedding Jealousy?

So my sister has been planning for her wedding and I think I've been getting jealous. Now don't get me wrong I'm super excited for her and I love to see her so happy but I can't help but think of my own wedding while we are talking about hers. Maybe it's not jealousy just a longing for my own.

She mentions her dream dress, I start thinking about my own.

She says she wants her wedding in the day outside, I start thinking about how much I want an evening wedding outside.

She complains about her inability to make decisions about the fine details, I start thinking about all my fine details from the invitations to the favors.

I don't know, is this natural? Is this jealousy or am I just excited for my own wedding? I feel bad about it? Should I mention it to her?
Somebody HELP!!!
Until next time,
MM

No you are not jealous, just waiting for your moment in the sun. Her big day is just getting you all excited about what is in store for you.

ive been in your shoes. things like this make you a little introspective and you think about what it will be like for you when your time comes. it's perfectly normal and your not so much jealous as you are excited like PJD said. i remember feeling sad that i dont really get to plan this for myself but it's not something you need to mention to her. hope that helps!

Thank you guys for the comments, I was really starting to trip out. LOL, I'm not a bad sister after all.

I don't think it's jealousy either. It's about wanting to have a dialogue. It's very difficult to say "I don't have kids so I have nothing to contribute to this conversation about children" or "I don't have a man, so I'm not going to give you advice about yours" or
"I'm not planning a wedding, so I can't talk about yours."

I think as human beings we just like to reciprocate what's being given to us and the best we can do when we haven't experienced something is to imagine what it's going to be like.

We also talk really good ish 'cause you can always say what you'll do or what you wouldn't do when you're not the one making the decision.

Now, pardon me, but I need to be a little nosey. You mentioned "Hubby" in the last post. Is that slang for boyfriend/companion/partner who you're not yet married to? Also, you mentioned that you've been dating him for 5 years. Have their been wedding talks?

What's the plan?

(And if I'm out of line getting all in your blogger business, then just kick me back to Tea & Such, I don't mind)

yummy, 27 dresses was such a fulfilling movie, I cried.

T, I understand where you're coming from, it's just that my imagination tends to run a little to wild to the point I forget we were talking about her to being with.
+ FYI my hubby is my boyfriend of 5 years, we are planning to have the wedding after I am done with school. Truth be told we were going to bet married when we were 18, right out of HS, then we grew brain sells and changed the plans. Smart idea, huh?

Hey, I was going to get married at 18, right out of high school, then I realized we didn't have health insurance so we waited until after college, smart move! But you are supposed to be excited and talk about your own wedding when helping people with their own, it's only natural.
